SHOTOKAN KARATE EXAM  4th DAN PROGRAM    

Exam from 3rd dan black belt to 4th dan Shotokan karate black belt (without title).

Length of stay: from 3rd dan black belt to 4th dan black belt minimum 36 months.

1st test: kihon.

a)- Shoho Tate shuto uke/ Gyaku zuki.

----------------------------------

2nd test:

Mae geri/ yoko geri/ Ushiro geri/ Mawashi geri/ Ura mawashi geri (Shizentai).

3rd test:

 Gyaku zuki/ Kizami zuki/ Oi zuki - Ura chen uchi (S.B.).

4th test:

Kizami zuki/ Mae geri/ Jyun zuki/ Gyaku zuki.

5th test:

Mae ashi/ yoko geri/ Kekomi – Oi komi/ Gyaku zuki/ Ura ken uchi/ Gyaku zuki/ Mae ashi – Ura mawashi geri (or Mawashi geri).

6th test:

Ushiro geri – Ura mawashi geri (S.G.) Oi komi Gyaku zuki (or) Ushiro geri – Yoko geri (S.G.) Oi zuki

7th Round: Kata.

a)- Nijushiho.

b)- Sochin.

c)- Unsu (a kata chosen by the candidate).

d)- A kata chosen by the commission from those included in the program up to 3rd Dan.

8th Round: Kumite.

a)- Jiyu Kumite.

b)- Tokui Waza - attack technique - defense technique.

c)- De ashi barai technique - throw technique.

9th Round:

Self-defense against a partner.

b)- Central Referee (kata).

c)- Explains the competition square.

a) Morphology of the human body.

c) Musculoskeletal system (human body).
