GOJU RYU KARATE EXAM  5h DAN PROGRAM    

Goju-Ryu Style Karate Exam for 5th Dan (without title) Minimum tenure 4 years.

1st round:

KIHON: Fundamentals. Execution of 6 freely composed personal combinations with techniques specific to the Goju-Ryu style.

2nd round:

KATA: Technical model. One kata chosen by the commission from among all the previous ones.

TENSHÔ SUPARINPEI (Pecchyurin).

3rd round:

BUNKAI: Application of the kata for SUPARINPEI (Pecchyurin) sequences – 6 sequences.

4th round:

KUMITE: Combat exercises. Demonstration of Jiyu Kumite and Kakie with a partner of your choice.

5th round:

KIGU HOJOUNDO: Preparatory exercises with equipment (optional, depending on the style practiced).
